2025 Annual Breakfast Fundraiser

THANK YOU! Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $74,000 at our Annual Breakfast event! These donations allow us to continue funding senior scholarships and classroom grants and provide other essential needs that may arise for students or faculty.

This year, our author and special guest was Ellie Peterson, the author and illustrator of the award-winning book How to Hug a Pufferfish. Ellie delivered an inspiring talk at the event, which resulted in many attendees lining up to purchase some of her wonderful books.

If you’d like to grab a copy of one of Ellie's wonderful books, be sure to check out her website!

Ellie emphasized the importance of diversity in literature, highlighting the need for all children to feel included and represented in books. She shared her experience of growing up in a mixed-race household and explained how her children inspired her to become an author and illustrator.

Together We Can Make A Difference

The event also included presentations from two recipients of our classroom grants and a senior scholarship recipient. These presentations showcased how your support directly benefits the faculty and students in our district. Eric Bergan, a physical education teacher at Kamiak High School, demonstrated the heart monitors he purchased for his students to use during class, which was made possible by the classroom grant he received.

Janelle Huber from Odyssey Elementary delivered a heartfelt speech about how a grant from the Mukilteo Schools Foundation enabled her to fully stock the Little Free Pantry she created for children and families in need. Thank you to all our donors and sponsors for making important and life changing projects like this possible.

Program Spotlight!

The Senior Scholarship program for the 2024-2025 school year is now open. We encourage all seniors in the Mukilteo School District who plan to continue their education after high school and require financial support to apply by the May 1st deadline.

In 2023 and 2024, the Mukilteo Schools Foundation awarded over $35,000 in scholarships to high school seniors in the district. We look forward to supporting the upcoming graduating class as they pursue bright futures! Your donations to MSF make this support possible!
